• What do the gift getaways consist of?

    These are special tour packages for gifts, they are purchased without a fixed date. When purchased, a gift voucher with an open date is sent by email. The date is decided when the gift is to be enjoyed. They usually include accommodation and have an oenological component. The voucher is valid for one year and allows the customer to enjoy the service whenever he/she requests it, making it a perfect gift.

  • How do I contract them?

    In our online store (https://rutasdevino.com/enoshop) you will be able to see the different options and book the one you like the most by just clicking and entering your details. Once the payment is received you will receive the voucher with the locator that will allow you to book the chosen hotel by email or you can call Rutas de Vino: +34 947 31 01 26.

  • How to book?

    Once you decide the date you want to enjoy your voucher, please contact us indicating that you have the gift voucher and the locator, following the instructions on the voucher.

  • What happens if the getaway voucher expires?

    The validity of the voucher can be extended by giving notice before it expires in order to enjoy it at any time. Vouchers do not expire. If you enjoy it later than the initial date shown on the voucher, you will have to pay any supplement due to rate increases.

  • How far in advance should I book?

    There is no minimum advance notice, but the earlier the better to avoid hotel availability problems.

  • Does the purchase of the voucher imply a hotel reservation?

    No. The hotel reservation depends on the availability of the hotel. The reservation must be made by contacting Rutas de Vino who will check availability for the desired dates once the gift voucher has been purchased, and within the dates of validity.

  • Can I book additional activities?

    Yes, additional activities, more nights, more wineries, etc. can be added depending on each case. Contact Rutas de Vino who will inform you about the extra cost and availability.

  • What dates are available?

    The vouchers indicate when they are valid, and in general have few blocked dates but are subject to the availability of the hotels themselves. To check availability, please contact us. In some cases you can use the voucher even if they are blocked dates by paying a supplement.

  • Can I make changes to my reservation, is there a charge for this and how far in advance?

    Date changes can be made in the gift voucher reservation up to 48 hours before the confirmed date. This change can be made ONCE ONLY free of charge.

    If further changes are required after the first reservation has already been made, the cost of changing the reservation will be 25€, always with more than 48h in advance.

    If the cancellation/modification of the reservation is made less than 48 hours in advance, each case will be studied depending on the reason for the cancellation, if not justified by an official certificate, the voucher will be considered as enjoyed.

    You can change the hotel purchased by paying the difference if the price is higher. If the price is lower, you can add more services or buy something else in the store. In no case the money will be refunded.

  • How do I know that the purchase is confirmed?

    By e-mail, where you will receive the purchase confirmation, together with the locator.

  • Do I receive any documentation, how and when do I receive it, and what does it consist of?

    You will receive a PDF file via email when the purchase is made. This file contains a description of the contracted service, as well as information about the accommodation and contacts of both the hotel and Rutas de Vino.

  • How do I pay? Who do I pay?

    You can pay by credit card through a secure online system, by direct bank transfer (an account number is provided) or by PayPal. The payment will be made to Rutas de Vino S.L. Once the payment is made, you will receive the gift voucher by email. From this moment, you can make your reservation.

  • Is it safe to pay online? Which cards do I use?

    Completely secure. All payments are made online through the bank’s secure payment server, without Rutas de Vino being able to access your card details.

  • How do I know if I have completed the payment?

    You will receive an email confirmation for the payment of the voucher, in which you will be provided with a locator number. This number will be used to make reservations at the hotel on the desired dates.

  • How do I get to the destination?

    Information about the location of the hotel will be provided (address, telephone, etc…). For any questions you can send an email to info@rutasdevino.com, or call +34 947 31 01 26 or ask directly to the hotel.

  • Is transportation to the destination included in the package?

    Unless otherwise indicated, the voucher does not include transportation to the requested destinations or to the various activities contracted.

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    Check-in and check-out times are established by the hotel itself. For more information, please contact the selected accommodation.

  • Can I modify or cancel the reservation?

    We have a very flexible cancellation and modification policy, but always subject to the policy of our suppliers.

    •  The change of date in the gift voucher reservation can be made 48 hours before the confirmed date. This change can be made once free of charge.
    •  If further changes are required after the first reservation has already been made, the cost of the change of reservation is 25€, always with more than 48h in advance.
